You were not just a grandpa, but a close friend,
It tears me apart, that your life had to end.

You fought so hard, you never gave in.
Even though you knew how much pain you were in.

I cant think about you, without getting upset.
You will always be in my heart, I will never forget.

Our time in this world is always unknown.
Finally god, has taken you home.

I will not stand at your grave and cry.
Because to me you did not die.

You will forever live inside my heart,
There will never be a day that we're apart.

You are the stars in our sky, and the water in our sea.
I now feel so safe, knowing that you will look after me.

I hope I've made you proud, of the person I have become,
We will meet again,when my time has come.
